Bird Beak Science

Today we explored how different bird beans are adapted for their different diets. We went to seven different stations that modeled how a certain type of bird uses its beak to eat. It was a fun day to explore!

First Dissection

Students in Mr. Austin's Anatomy looked at the outcome of violence between the "Ickles" and the "Nanners." Students were "recruited" to perform autopsies on the victims. "They did a great job and are now dissection pros," said Mr. Austin.
