Middle-High School Project Continues
Progress continues on the Kenton Middle-High School site as the new Performing Arts Center continues to take shape. The PAC space will remain the area of focus for the next few months.
JROTC/FFA Recognition
Kenton Rotary donates funds to both programs as a thank you for students helping serve ice cream at the fair this past September.
Testing Minerals
Students in Mrs. Jones’ eighth grade science classes have been studying minerals. On Monday they tested them for hardness and worked with Mohs Hardness Scale.
Reading in ELA
Seventh grade students in Mrs. Hites’ class have read “The Outsiders”, and her eighth grade students “Red Kayak”. Their character posters are also hanging in the upstairs hallway.
Always Believe
Students and staff at KMS had an excellent speaker today, Shawn Harper. The former NFL player had a message of never give up and don’t stop believing in yourself and your dreams.
Cloud Study
Students in Mrs. Ketcham’s 7th grade science classes have been studying the atmosphere, weather and clouds. Partners created information diagrams of the different cloud types, which are displayed in the back hallway.
KHS Musical
