Students imitate the solar system! Today we learned that during the Scientific Revolution the standard model of the solar system changed from "Geocentric" to "Heliocentric".  Thanks Copernicus!

35 of Kenton’s FFA students traveled to the Molly Caren Agricultural Center for the annual Farm Science Review. Students were able to speak with leaders in the agricultural industry and see new innovations in agriculture.

Students in Mr. Austin's Anatomy looked at the outcome of violence between the "Ickles" and the "Nanners." Students were "recruited" to perform autopsies on the victims. "They did a great job and are now dissection pros," said Mr. Austin.

The KHS gardening club received a generous donation from Sam Norris at Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library and Walmart.

Today students had fun marbling several sheets of paper using shaving cream and liquid watercolor. These papers will be used in the future as a backgrounds for drawings and covers for a handmade books.

The Kenton High School staff was excited to welcome back students, greeting them with music, high-fives, and fist bumps. The staff is extremely excited for another great school year.
